Campus Health Services

Current Students

The campus nurse consults with students concerning health needs and practices. The nurse is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. The nurse advises students concerning health problems, assists in contacting a physician, and plans/promotes health education programs campus-wide. The nurse does not prescribe medication and does not give injections/inoculations. The student is financially responsible for additional medical treatment. The nurse can be reached by phone at 405.585.5263 or in person in the Student Services office located on the first floor of the Geiger Center. For your convenience, the following information is being provided:

Future Students

Oklahoma Baptist University does not carry health and accident insurance on OBU students. You are strongly encouraged to carry adequate health and accident insurance. More information can be obtained through the Dean of Students' office located in Geiger Center 209.

New Students: The Student Health Service Record form must be completed prior to enrollment. The personal history section should be completed and signed by the student before having the physical exam. Please attach a copy of your immunization records to the form.

Transfer Students: A copy of your health records from your previous institution will be accepted, but must include a copy of your immunization record.

All information provided is confidential and is protected by law. It will be used only by the Student Health Services and Student Development staff to aid in providing necessary health care while you are a student.
