Dual Credit Partnerships

OBU's dual-credit partnership offers your high school a valuable opportunity to enhance its academic programs by providing college credit courses directly on your campus. Through this collaboration, your qualified teachers can deliver OBU-approved curriculum in your classrooms, allowing students to earn college credits conveniently within their familiar learning environment.

This partnership not only enriches your school's educational offerings but also gives your students an excellent head start on their college journey. We invite you to consider joining this program to benefit your students and strengthen your school's commitment to academic excellence

Affordable Option

The cost to participate in the dual credit partnership is $65 per credit hour. Schools can keep this rate, or they have the freedom to set higher rates to help cover their own costs (teacher stipends, books, administrative expenses).

Financial Assistance to Teachers

OBU will provide tuition assistance to help high school faculty earn needed credentials to teach in the dual-credit program. This benefit of up to $1,000 per semester allows instructors to further their own education, while also providing more class options for the high school to offer students.

Personalized Partnership

A key aspect of OBU’s dual credit program is the “boutique approach.” OBU is committed to ensuring schools are able to offer the courses their students need in the best timeframe appropriate for their learning. Each school has a unique mission and ethos, so OBU wants to come alongside school leadership to create pathways which prioritizes their specific needs. If you can dream it, we will do our best to make it a reality!

Scholarships

Graduates of schools who participate in the OBU dual credit program will receive a $500 scholarship in addition to other academic scholarships if they choose to enroll full-time at OBU. Students who graduate from an ACSI accredited school and choose to attend OBU will receive a $1,000 annual scholarship in addition to other academic scholarships. Both scholarships are renewable for 4 years.

“OBU’s commitment to Christian education at all levels is exemplary. The OBU faculty has made the dual-credit process more simplified and streamlined. Having two children of my own attend CHA and OBU, I know firsthand the likeminded mission and commitment to distinctly biblical education. I also have been blessed by the genuine care and concern of the OBU faculty for students.”
