Team Newton
This learning community offers opportunities for students to explore the fundamentals of the scientific approach, to understand the influence of Christian liberal arts education on the scientific worldview and develop good scholarly habits through writing, speaking and reading of the classic authors in scientific literature. Integration of basic chemistry, computer technology and the ethical implications of scientific advancements are intended to introduce students to the art and practice of doing science. If you want/need a little slower introduction to chemistry and will be taking College Algebra or College Trigonometry in your first semester, Team Newton is the learning community for you!! Come along with others who will be on this same journey! You will bond together!

This learning community offers opportunities for students to explore the fundamentals of the scientific approach, to understand the influence of Christian liberal arts education on the scientific worldview and develop good scholarly habits through writing, speaking and reading of the classic authors in scientific literature. Integration of basic chemistry, computer technology and the ethical implications of scientific advancements are intended to introduce students to the art and practice of doing science. If your high school chemistry background is really strong so that you will start your college career in General Chemistry I and Analytic Geometry and Calculus I, then bonding with the Team Einstein cohort is tailor-made for you!

Team Faraday
This learning community offers opportunities for students to navigate the basics of the scientific approach, explore the fundamentals of chemistry, improve problem-solving skills, and enhance mathematical techniques required for degree programs in science and mathematics. The combination of fundamental mathematical concepts with the central science of chemistry is intended to introduce students to the art and practice of scientific problem-solving. If you want/need to gain ground on some of your mathematics prerequisites (both Intermediate Algebra and College Algebra) while building a foundation for success in chemistry in your first semester, Team Faraday is the learning community for you!! Come along with others who will be on this same journey! You will bond together!
