Biography
Alex Webster is an artist, educator, and collaborator originally from the Carolinas. She has a B.A. in Theatre from Brevard College and an M.F.A. in Theatre Performance and Pedagogy from Texas Tech University. Webster has enjoyed creating and developing new theatre works which has traveled around the world including, "9 in the Morning", "The Female Role Model Project", and "Yellow". She has presented her performance-based research at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, the Southeastern Theatre Conference, Fringe Marfa, the West Texas Junior Shakespeare Festival, and the National Recovery Conference. Her work muddies the lines between musicals, performance art, painting, poetry and sound art. Be sure to listen to her 2020 album "Traveling Home" on your favorite music platform.
