Biography
Dr. McMahan is a consummate example of a life-long learner. He earned his first advanced degree, a master of public administration while serving in the USAF. He earned his second masters, an MBA just before he retired from the Air Force. He also attended a host of military training courses including graduating from Defense Systems Management Course (program management) as well as attending the Juran Quality Institute and Qual Tech courses on quality.
After completing his Air Force career he earned his doctorate of education in Aviation and Aerospace from Oklahoma State University. Dr. McMahan led the State as President of the Air Force Association and now is the State President for Oklahoma, Gideons International.
Dr. McMahan is a licensed pilot, teaches adult Sunday School Class and plays violin in the church orchestra. He is married to Louise Ann Prater McMahan of North Little Rock, AR. Dr. McMahan was born in Andrews North Carolina and has lived in Oklahoma since 1991. The McMahan's have four adult children--all with college degrees and four grandchildren. Dr. McMahan has been teaching college classes up to and including doctorate level since 1999.
