Biography
Robin Brothers joined the OBU faculty in 2016 as an Assistant Professor of Nursing. She received her Doctorate of Philosophy in Nursing in 2016. Prior to that she received her BSN in 2007 and MSN in 2009. In addition she received her AS RN in 1998 and her LPN in 1996. Her professional experience includes hospital nursing practice and undergraduate education. Her research interest include mental health, substance use disorder, cultural competence, role transitions, and the motivation and experiences of the International student. In 2011 Robin became a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) which is the mark of professionalism and expertise in the field of nursing education. Robin is committed to helping student nurses become caring, confident leaders in the profession of nursing.
