Join us November 12 and help your students Discover Teaching!
This event is designed for 9th–12th grade students and introduces them to the field of education. OBU faculty and preservice teachers will have hands-on activities and sessions focused on teaching students of all ages. Bus parking is available, and we encourage you to invite any student interested in education—we offer teaching degrees for students of all interests.

Free to attend and lunch is included!
Three hands-on sessions will be available focused on teaching children of all ages.
Breakouts include subjects such as reading, math, science, history, Spanish, theatre, music, art and special education. Also tour the OBU campus during your time here!
We will also go over financial support options specifically for future educators in Oklahoma such as the Inspired to Teach Scholarship and the TEACH Grant.
Special breakout sessions for accompanying P-12 faculty and administrators are available.
Featured Guest
We are honored to welcome Alton Carter as our featured guest this year. All P-12 teachers attending the conference will receive a copy of one of Alton Carter's books.

Travel Stipend Available
Schools with a high population of student diversity and with more than 50% needing free and reduced lunch are invited to apply for a $500 travel stipend to minimize travel expenses to the conference. The five most diverse schools with the highest financial need will be awarded the stipend.
Instructors and administrators can apply for the travel stipend during registration.
