Dr. David Gambo was born in the mission field in Nigeria and made a decision to follow Christ when he was 8 years old. He holds a bachelor of science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Jos, Nigeria. He also earned a Master of Divinity in preaching and biblical languages and a Ph.D. in preaching and pastoral ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Gambo has published several works in the area of Christian discipleship and has spoken frequently in revival and conferences in Africa and the U.S.

Dr. Gambo is an ordained minister within the southern Baptist denomination and enjoys preaching regularly. He serves as the Reverend A.E. & Dora Johnson Hughes Chair of Christian Ministry and Associate Professor of Christian Ministry at Oklahoma Baptist University. 

A husband and father to three, Dr. Gambo is married to a beautiful and godly wife, Sarah, and enjoys time with his children Elijah, Elizabeth, and Esther Rose. In his spare time, he enjoys watching soccer, reading, farming, and spending time with his family.
