Maintaining the Momentum of Wood Science Building

Within W.P. Wood Science Building, students are equipped with the critical skills needed to thrive in medical school, lead groundbreaking research, or even solve the problem of how to direct Apollo missions to the moon. The classrooms, labs, W.P. Wood Planetarium, and Bailey Science Museum have been pivotal in shaping many students’ educational journeys.

As we look back on the progress made so far, we plan ahead for the continued renovations to Wood Science Building and the generations of future shapers whose lives will be transformed in its walls.

“My foundations in chemistry and math were critical to what I did during my training, and even today as we see opportunities to advance technology to identify new drugs.”
