OBU Women Spank College of the Ozarks

Less than 24 hours after topping University of the Ozarks by 34, the Oklahoma Baptist University women's basketball team made it an Ozark sweep, collecting a 71-52 win over College of the Ozarks in John Brown University's Golden Eagle Classic Saturday.

College of the Ozarks is ranked 14th in NAIA Division II.

OBU got 17 points and nine rebounds from Layla Schwarz with Priscila Alves adding 15 and Rachel Heins 14 points. Heins averaged 19 points off the bench for the classic and OBU outscored the Bobcats 29-14 in bench scoring.

The win puts OBU at 6-0 on the season. The Lady Bison play Langston at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Noble Complex.
