Bison Knock Off Kansas Wesleyan 7-4

The Bison took a 3-0 lead in the second inning when Aaron Dickson singled home courtesy runner Daniel Hayes ahead of a two-run double by Frankie Ibarra.

Kansas Wesleyan tied the score at 3-3 in the top of the fourth inning on RBI singles by Trevor Howell and T.J. Fields and a sacrifice fly by Matt Garretson.

The Bison scored once in the seventh to take a 4-3 lead as Kip Keith doubled, moved to third on Ibarra's fly out to center and scored on a two-out single by Danny Guidry.

The Coyotes tied the game in the top of the eighth on an RBI single by Kyle Dillehay.

OBU scored the go-ahead run on an error before Ibarra belted a second two-run double for the final margin.

Chad Rhoades closed the game in the ninth to get his third save of the season. Wes Moreland picked up the win in relief of Brent Roberts.

Keith and Ibarra led the OBU offense with three hits each, with Rett Terrell getting two singles.

The 9-2 Bison and 2-6 Coyotes will hook up again Saturday in a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
