Oklahoma Baptist dropped a 7-2 decision at Northwood and seemed destined for a split, but the weather had other ideas.
Leading 6-2 on a Rett Terrell grand slam and a two-run single by Frankie Ibarra, rain washed out the game with the Bison batting in the bottom of the fourth inning. A game must go five innings to be official, so OBU ame home with one loss and no wins for the trip.
In the opener, OBU did all its scoring in the second inning with a two-run home run by Adam Dalby.
Brent Roberts took the loss for the Bison.
Nick Bakich was 3-for-3 on the day.
OBU will return to Sooner Athletic Conference action Friday at home against USAO.
