Oklahoma Baptist took a pair of Sooner Athletic Conference games from USAO Friday at Bison Field, 13-3 and 10-2, to move past the Drovers into fourth place in the Sooner Athletic Conference standings.

OBU posted a run-rule win in the opener after scoring eight times in the sixth inning, blowing wide what had been a 5-3 lead.

The Bison struck first in the first inning when Adam Dalby walked and Rett Terrell was hit by a pitch, both with the bases loaded for a 2-0 OBU lead.

OBU used a solo home run by Felix Peguero, his 10th, and a sacrifice fly by Nick Bakich to build a 4-0 lead in the third.

USAO trimmed the lead to 4-3 with a run in the fourth and two unearned runs in the fifth.

Bakich singled home Chris Cox in the fifth to make it 5-3.

OBU's big sixth inning started with two walks and a pitcher's error to load the bases. Dalby doubled home two runs and the third run of the inning came home on a wild pitch. Daniel Hayes and Peguero added RBI singles, Aaron Dickson had a sacrifice fly and Frankie Ibarra doubled home two runs.

Tabor Woolard went the distance to improve to 6-4 on the season, allowing five hits.

OBU got three hits from Dalby and two each by Peguero, Guidry and Hayes.

After falling behind 1-0 in the first inning of the second game, OBU exploded for five runs in the bottom of the first on RBI singles by Peguero and Eric Curry, a two-run triple by Guidry and a run-scoring wild pitch.

A Rett Terrell home run and an RBI single by Kip Keith highlighted a three-run third for OBU for an 8-1 lead. The Bison added a run in the fifth on an RBI double by Keith and another in the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Terrell.

Chris Ryan (5-2) went the distance for the Bison, scattering 10 hits.

Keith led OBU with three hits, while Guidry added two.

OBU, 28-14 overall and 7-7 in the SAC, will hook up with USAO Saturday in Chickasha. The Drovers drop to 17-22 overall at 6-8 in the SAC.
