Oklahoma Baptist honored its basketball and cheerleading squads at the first Winter Sports Banquet recently, hosted by the Bison Athletic Association.
Cheerleader Timilyn Haller won the Presidential Scholar Award for best grade point average among athletes.
The Al Tucker Award was presented to men's basketball player Bailey Jones. The Tomolonis Award, annually given to the Lady Bison player who best represents the spirit of the program, was presented to Tabetha Eaton.
Scholarships received included the W.A. Bass Award to Lena Brenning and Evan Grace; the J.H. Taylor Awards to Priscila Alves and Frank Benson; the Tracy Bowers Award to Keely Tolin; and the Coach Beauford Barnum Award to Rachel Heins.
