Oklahoma Baptist's Tabor Woolard has been named Sooner Athletic Conference and NAIA Region VI Baseball Pitcher of the Week for April 18-24.
Woolard, a senior from San Antonio, Texas, was 2-0 for the week and had two saves in a week in which he moved from starter to closer. He threw 13.1 innings of scoreless relief, allowing no inherited runners to score, while scattering six hits and striking out 11. Woolard had a save against Northwood and two wins and a save against Wayland Baptist to move the Bison into third place in the SAC standings. He threw the final six innings of OBU's 13-inning win over WBU.
