Oklahoma Baptist University's Amanda Zahara has been named Sooner Athletic Conference and NAIA Region VI Pitcher of the Week for April 25-May 1.
Zahara, a junior from Sexsmith, Alberta, was 2-0 with a save and a perfect 0.00 earned run average. Zahara shut out Northwestern Oklahoma State on four hits and appeared in all four OBU games on the week. She pitched 15.1 innings and struck out 16 batters.
She also batted .727 (8-11) with four RBI on the week.
