Oklahoma Baptist, just days removed from a thrilling extra-inning win over Oklahoma City University, will face the Stars again at 4 p.m., Wednesday, in the first round of the NAIA Region VI Tournament in Houston.
The Stars, exiting in third place in the SAC Tournament with the loss to the Bison, are the third seed in the regional tournament. OBU is seeded fourth.
Host Houston Baptist won the top seed, followed by SAC Tournament Champion Lubbock Christian. HBU will play Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. against Wayland Baptist, the sixth seed.
Lubbock Christian will play fifth-seeded Northwood at 12:30 p.m., followed by the Bison and OCU at 4.
Should OBU win, they will play the LCU-Northwood winner at 4 p.m. Thursday. The OBU-OCU loser contests the winner of the HBU-Wayland Baptist game at 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
