Three OBU Track Athletes Earn Academic Honor

Three Oklahoma Baptist University track athletes earned NAIA All-America Scholar Athlete honors.

Daniel Ellis, a junior Bible major from Sapulpa; Andrea Mount, a senior elementary education major from Mustang ; and Melissa Mount, a senior biology major from Mustang, received the honor during the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

To earn the honor, the athlete must be of junior or senior standing academically with no less than a 3.50 grade point average. Athletes must also have met the "B" Standard for national meet qualifying.
