The absence of two-time national champion Mirriam Kaumba has caused its first ripple on the Oklahoma Baptist University women's cross country team as the Lady Bison have a No. 15 ranking in the preseason NAIA Top 25 poll.
The No. 15 mark is the lowest preseason ranking since 2002 for the OBU women, who were ranked 19th in the NAIA that year.
Becka Brock and Katie Rader return after All-Conference performances last season.
The Bison are 26th in the preseason men's poll, missing the preseason Top 25 for the second consecutive season.
