Oklahoma Baptist University's Frank Benson and Tabetha Eaton have been named Sooner Athletic Conference Basketball Player of the Week honors, for the week of Nov. 14-20.
Eaton, a 5-9 senior guard from Chickasha, scored 20 points and matched a career high with 10 rebounds and three steals to lead Oklahoma Baptist past Central Christian 77-50.
Benson, a 6-5 senior forward from Houston, Texas, averaged 24.3 points and 9.3 rebounds in leading the Bison past Mid-America Christian (89-71), Central Oklahoma (80-75) and Arkansas Baptist (102-68). He had a personal best 18 rebounds against ABC.
