Connie Medley, OBU's financial aid award coordinator, died Wednesday, December 28. She was 58.
Medley joined the University's staff in 1989 as a data input operator. She moved to her post as award coordinator in the Student Financial Services Office in 1991.
She is survived by her mother, her husband, Michael Medley, her daughter, Julie, and two grandsons, Nathan and Andrew.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, December 30, at Tecumseh Cemetery, on South Gordon Cooper Drive, south of Hardesty Road. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 29, at Walker Funeral Service, 201 East 45th Street in Shawnee.
