McCullough Becomes OBU Wins Leader

With McCullough's 138th win, the coach is now on top in all-time coaching wins for the OBU women's basketball program. In this is seventh season, McCullough has coached more seasons than any other Lady Bison basketball coach.

OBU out-rebounded the Lady Trojans 43-28 and got 51 points off the bench.

Dilenny Castillo went for 20 points and Rachel Heins added 13 to account for 33 bench points for the Lady Bison. Betsy Simmons was the top-scoring starter with 10 points to go along with a game-high seven rebounds.

The Lady Bison never trailed in the game and their first-half lead peaked at the first half buzzer at 36-20. Six different players scored in a half-ending 14-3 run with Erin Pickering, Jayme Glover and Kristen Anderson all sinking three-pointers.

Hannibal-LaGrange got as close as 10 points in the second half, but OBU methodically built the lead and had as much as a 22-point bulge in the last period.

Megan Martin scored all 20 of her points in the second half to lead HLC.

Now 2-4, the Lady Bison will battle Park University at 4 p.m., Saturday.

In Friday's other women's game, Southern Nazarene ripped Park 87-46.
