Oklahoma Baptist took three of four matches from Southeastern and East Central Firday and Saturday.
The Bison knocked off Southeastern and East Central by 5-4 counts while the Lady Bison dropped Southeastern 5-4, but lost to East Central 6-3.
Peter McCorkle had an undefeated weekend for the Bison, going 2-0 in third singles and 2-0 in No. 3 doubles with partner Michael Canavan.
Against Southeastern, McCorkle scored a singles win over Danilo Hiraoka and then combined with Canavan for a narrow 9-8 (7-3) win over Jesse Buchanan and Greg Owen.
Bruno Scacalossi also got an important win in No. 1 singles, holding off Ben Disley, 7-6 (7-5), 4-6, 6-2. Scott Milner had the only other singles win in the second slot, knocking off Nikita Ryaschenko, 6-4, 6-2.
Scacalossi and Gustavo Schaefer scores a No. 1 doubles win, 8-4, over Luiz Ramos and Hiraoka.
McCorkle battled and beat East Central's Victor Rios in No. 3 singles, 6-1, 7-6 (7-5) and worked with Canavan for a close 8-6 win over Colin Helton and Mitch Sholty in doubles in the closest wins in the match for OBU.
Scacalossi and Schaefer cruised past Cristobal Nunez and Camilo Munoz, 8-2 in first doubles.
Milner knocked off Munoz 6-4, 6-2, and Schaefer scored a No. 4 singles victory over John Sedlak, 6-3, 6-1.
The Lady Bison got past East Central with Kaitlin Pascucci and Katie Halbeseleben holding off Sara Schmidt and Maria Valesco, 8-6 in an important No. 3 doubles win.
Samantha Attard and Brittney Byrd defeated Jenny Paine and Amber Thompson at No. 1 doubles 8-3. Attard also took down Thompson in No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-0.
Brooke Mowery cruised past Schmidt in No. 5 singles, 6-1, 6-2, and Pascucci defeated Valesco, 7-5, 6-0 in No. 6 singles.
Against East Central, the Lady Bison got wins out of Mowery and Peige Davis at No. 3 doubles, 8-1; Attard in No. 1 singles, 6-3, 6-0, and Davis in No. 5 singles, 6-2, 6-2.
