Provost Tells Good Friday Story
April 10, 2009
Oklahoma Baptist University Provost Stan Norman offers a graphic portrayal of Christ's crucifixion during a Good Friday campus chapel service on April 10. Dr. Norman, who also serves as the University's executive vice president for campus life, based his depiction on Scripture as well as cultural research of the time of Christ's death. While Jesus endured great suffering on humanity's behalf, "on your deepest, darkest day, you have never been abandoned by God," Norman reminded the students.
