Brenden Laughlin to Perform Junior Recital

OBU student Brenden Laughlin will perform his junior recital Monday, March 7, at 8:30 p.m. in Yarborough Auditorium in Raley Chapel on the OBU campus. The community is invited to attend.

Laughlin is a piano performance major from Albuquerque, N.M. The son of Karie Dumler, he is from the studio of Dr. Carol Bell, senior professor of piano. He is a member of the Bison Glee Club, University Chorale and OBU Symphonic Band. He recently was part of OBU's production of "The Marriage of Figaro." After graduation, he plans to attend graduate school for piano pedagogy.

The recital will include works by Frederic Chopin, Johan Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, Claude Debussy and William Bolcom.

The audience is invited to a reception in Raley Chapel room 142 immediately following the recital.
