OBU Receives Marketing, Recruitment Award

OBU recently was selected to receive a 2011 Noel-Levitz Marketing and Recruitment Excellence Award. Recruitment on Bison Hill is led by the OBU Admissions team, which is managed by Bruce Perkins, director of admissions.
Four colleges and universities were chosen to receive awards, which will be presented at the 2011 National Conference on Student Recruitment, Marketing and Retention. The conference will be held July 26-28 at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. More than 1,000 representatives from more than 600 colleges and universities throughout North American will attend the conference to share state-of-the-art enrollment practices.
"Bruce and his team have proven to be among the best in the nation, and we are proud of their work and our partnership with Noel-Levitz," said OBU President David W. Whitlock.
The Noel-Levitz Marketing and Recruitment awards recognize exemplary programs, services and strategies that have made an impact on campus student enrollment. Institutions are nominated for the awards by Noel-Levitz consultants and are selected based on several factors including institutional outcomes and execution of strategies that promote student awareness, inquiry, application, admission, deposit and enrollment.
