OBU Builds Cost-Effective Conditioning Units

Construction on apartment housing continues at Oklahoma Baptist University as new geothermal conditioning units near completion. A geothermal system circulates water through sealed underground piping loops rather than the traditional use of air circulation. According to George Haines, director of facilities management at OBU, the Environmental Protection Agency has stated geo exchange systems are the most energy-efficient, environmentally clean and cost-effective space conditioning system available today.
