Test Scores

TOEFL / ESL / IELTS Score

OBU requires you to attain a 70 on the IBT TOEFL, a 61 ESL score, or a 6.5 on the IELTS Exam. You must submit an English proficiency score unless you meet one of the following exemptions:

• Graduated from an American High School
• Attended a US college
• English is the only official language of your country
• Completed the International Baccalaureate program
• You already achieved an admissible score on the ACT or SAT for admission
• Graduates from OBU's Intensive English Program

ACT / SAT Scores

• Freshman applicants may submit these scores in place of a TOEFL / IELTS score
• Taking one or both of these exams is recommended as Academic Scholarships for freshman are awarded based on this information
