University Scholar: Full Tuition Scholarship
Based on your answers, you may be eligible to apply for the University Scholar full tuition scholarship. To learn more about the scholarship, visit the scholarship information page.
Academic Grant Scholarship: $10,000
Our minimum academic scholarship is open to all first-time freshmen and is renewable each year by maintaining a 2.0 college GPA.
President’s Academic Scholarship: $11,000
This scholarship is awarded based on your GPA and test scores. It is renewable each year by maintaining a 2.0 college GPA.
Trustee’s Academic Scholarship: $12,000
This scholarship is awarded based on your GPA and test scores. It is renewable each year by maintaining a 2.0 college GPA.
Founder’s Academic Scholarship: $15,000
Our highest academic scholarship is awarded based on your GPA and test scores. It is renewable each year by maintaining a 2.0 college GPA.
Bison Grant: $2,000 or more
These need-based grants awarded based on unmet demonstrated need and other financial aid student is receiving. You automatically qualify for $2,000 and could receive even more depending on the results of your FAFSA.
Out-of-State Scholarship: $2,000
To help offset the lack of state grant funding for our out-of-state students, all non-resident students qualify for an automatic $2,000 scholarship.
Multicultural Scholarship: $1,000
The multicultural scholarship recognizes underrepresented undergraduate students. Apply for admission to find out if you're eligible!
Oklahoma Regents Academic Scholars Program: $4,500
This scholarship is established by the State of Oklahoma to provide academically outstanding students an opportunity to attend Oklahoma colleges and universities. It is open to Oklahoma residents who are National Merit Scholars or have achieved an ACT or SAT composite score in the 99.5 to 100th percentile.
Bison Bound Scholarship: $1,000
By completing an official campus visit through the Office of Admissions by February 1, 2025, you will receive a $1,000 Bison Bound scholarship!
Bison Bound Scholarship: $2,000
By completing an official campus visit through the Office of Admissions by February 1, 2025, you will receive a $2,000 Bison Bound scholarship!
FAFSA Completion Grant: $1,000
Complete the FAFSA and send it to OBU by February 1, 2025, to earn a $1,000 FAFSA completion grant.
OBU Engineering Scholarship: $3,000
If you are pursuing a major in mechanical or electrical engineering at OBU, you will receive a $3,000 scholarship.
OBU Ministry Scholarship: $4,500
By pursuing a major in one of our ministry programs, you will receive a $4,500 scholarship. Talk to your admissions counselor to learn more about which programs qualify.
Project Lead the Way Scholarship: $1,000
ACSI Scholarship: $1,000
SBC Ministry Dependent Scholarship: $1,000
Church Partnership Scholarship: $2,000

Scholarships and grants listed are applicable for traditional undergraduate students entering OBU for the first time during the 2025-2026 academic year. Students must enroll full-time to qualify. Some scholarships may not be applicable for student athletes, full-tuition scholarship recipients, or students currently receiving the employee education benefit. Fully online students are not eligible.
