Hope House

Purpose

This is a local student-led ministry of youth in the foster system. Hope House is a facility in Shawnee that houses children under state custody. The purpose is for students to engage in meaningful relationships and encourage these youth during a challenging time while sharing the love of Christ.

Activities

Students meet in the lower level of the Geiger Center every Monday night at 6:15 p.m. and carpool together to the Hope House. While there, they lead the kids in games and activities, provide a snack and teach a bible lesson.
